At Houchens Insurance Group (HIG), we are blessed to have great partners like Delta Dental of Kentucky who have been unbelievably generous to our employees, neighbors, and customers after the recent tornadoes devastated our community. The affected areas are still in recovery and will be for many months to come. However, the outpouring of support, both financial and otherwise, from organizations like Delta Dental, Independence Bank and other individuals or companies has left Bowling Green with a renewed sense of hope and optimism that better days are ahead. We still have a long way to go.

The Independence Bank Disaster Relief Fund post, which was shared across multiple social media platforms, made its way to Delta Dental employee Jeremy Poston who felt called to help. Poston reached out to HIG to see in what ways the organization could contribute. This led to Bryne Wiseman, President of HIG Benefits, to present a $200,000 check to Independence Bank as one of their local partners.

Delta Dental continues to help aid those affected by the disaster. This most recent contribution to the Hope and Peace Foundation Tornado Relief Fund does just that. The donation to the fund also serves as an incredible example of what it really means to give back to the community.

Special thanks to Independence Bank for stepping up and offering their fund and make this desire to help a reality. It was an honor for Houchens Insurance Group to play a part in this as well to bring people the help they desperately need.
