Chief Justice Minton Award Dinner

The Kentucky Bar Foundation will honor two distinguished legal figures from Bowling Green, Charles English and retired Chief Justice John Minton Jr., at an award dinner on February 6th at La Gala. English, a founding partner of English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, will receive the inaugural Chief Justice John Minton Jr. Award, recognizing his professionalism, integrity, and contributions to advancing justice. With a 64-year career spanning business law, litigation, and academia, English’s achievements include high-profile cases and leadership roles in state and national legal organizations. Minton, celebrated for his leadership as Kentucky’s Chief Justice from 2008 to 2023, modernized court systems, expanded access to justice, and implemented groundbreaking reforms. General admission tickets for the event are $75 and available through January 22nd.
