Independence Bank earned a spot on the 2024 Top 100 Best Places to Work in Kentucky list.
The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and CHI Saint Joseph Health revealed the companies on March 15.
The Owensboro-based financial institution has a footprint of 27 locations in 15 counties across Kentucky with just under 450 employees.
The selection process, managed by Workforce Research Group, uses an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures, paired with the results of an internal employee survey. The program is in its 20th year.
“It is an honor to consistently be recognized for having a culture and environment where our employees know they make the difference,” Independence Bank President Phil Riney shared. “We celebrate this as a reflection of our core values. Our people will continue to take care of our customers and communities with the excellence they’ve come to expect.”
This marks the 16th year that Independence Bank has earned a spot on the list. Independence Bank competes in the medium category, which includes organizations ranging from 150-499 employees.
Final rankings were revealed at an award dinner in Lexington on June 13.
