Independence Bank continuously identifies initiatives making an impact throughout its individual communities. We know there are plenty of projects, programs and people promoting positive change. It makes us proud to play a part in helping push those missions forward.
As a new market, Shelbyville is supported though our Independence Foundation funds. As a strong community-minded bank, we realize local philanthropic and civic groups are an integral piece of a community’s infrastructure. Most recently we have come alongside Fathers Love and Junior Achievement to support their work, and partnered with SCHS to create a Seniors Feeding Seniors Food Drive. Additionally, our local high school scholarship applications are in the review process.
As we go forward by giving back, we invite others to come along, join in and make notable improvements. Please join us from 7:30-9:00 a.m. on April 20, 2023 for a Chamber Morning Mixer at our Village Plaza location.
Plans are in place to build a permanent signature location in Shelby County. The building is a replica of Independence Hall, which is estimated to be between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet in size. We aim to break ground later this year.
We’re Independence Bank. We’re Here. For Good.
